SHOP THE CURIOSITY FAIR, NOW THROUGH APRIL 14!
Take a trip to our Curiosity Fair! All purchases made through Thursday, April 14, downtown at Curious Iguana and Dancing Bear, or online at our personalized bookshop, will benefit our school! Remember to mention MVMPCS at checkout.
Shop the fair in-store at the Curious Iguana (12 North Market St. Frederick) and Dancing Bear Toys and Games (15 East Patrick St. Frederick) between now and Thursday, April 14, and ALL purchases will benefit MVMPCS. You must mention that you are shopping for MVM at checkout.
Find each teacher's Passport to Adventure Wishlist on the credenza outside the main office, and on select mornings and afternoons under the awning!
Grab a page and take it downtown to the Curious Iguana to purchase the book or gift card. If you can't make it to the store, you may call to make your purchase. Please note: all wishlist titles should be purchased in-store.
Timeline and Highlights:
- Friday, April 1 - Thursday, April 14
- Shop the Curiosity Fair in-store at Curious Iguana (12 N. Market St.) AND Dancing Bear (15 East Patrick St.). Make sure to mention MVMPCS for our school to get credit.
- Shop online at our personalized Curiosity Fair site. Make sure to follow this link for our school to get credit.
- Classroom book demos and storytimes (email to volunteer).
- Classroom visits to Curious Iguana (schedule varies by level and class).
- Grab a page from a Passport to Adventure (our teachers' wishlists) to purchase a book or gift card for one of our classrooms. Wishlist books should be purchased in-store.
- Monday, April 4 11:45am-12:30pm - Preschool Storytime in the Outdoor Classroom! Pack a snack and enjoy stories and spending time with friends after school.
- Tuesday, April 12 - 11am-9pm - Community Carry Out (or Dine In) at Pizza & Pretzel Creations! Stop in to Pizza & Pretzel Creations at 210 N. Market Street all day ~ mention MVMPCS when you order for our school to receive credit!
- Tuesday, April 12 - 6-8pm - MVM Shopping Night at Curious Iguana and Dancing Bear. Come shop the fair at both stores, meet other MVM families, AND don't forget to order Pizza & Pretzel Creations for dinner!
- Wednesday, April 13 6:30-8pm - Literacy Parent Engagement Night at MVMPCS! Childcare provided by MVMPCS Middle Schoolers ($5); in-person event only.
- Thursday, April 14 - FINAL DAY OF THE FAIR! Shop all day - 10am-6pm!
