Who? Communication Committee
What? Communication Chair
Where? At home or wherever you have a device
When? 1-3 hours a week
Why? This committee helps facilitate communication between the GC, including the committees, and the MVM community. It also helps the MVM administration and staff reach the community by duplicating school information through the various communication channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee various communication channels including facebook, eNews email, Meerkat newsletter and MVM website
- Assure consistency in communication content across all channels to avoid creating confusion
- Make sure volunteers are updating content for accuracy
- Maintain documentation for requests, updates, issues, workflows, and team meetings
- Create monthly update reports for the GC
- Recruit volunteers to fill Communication positions
