The car line sub-committee has worked diligently to create a plan to maximize capacity in our parking lot and minimize our traffic impact on Thomas Johnson (TJ) Drive. Below are the new car line maps with additional maps for approaching and exiting the school. The maps and a new car line code of conduct will be added to the parent handbook. Please review and familiarize yourself with these documents and share with anyone helping your student(s) with car line.

It’s Almost Here! MVMPCS First Day of School

Hello MVMPCS Meerkat Families! The first day of school is almost here and while our amazing staff have been busily preparing the building for your arrival, MVM’s parent volunteers have been working to update our website to make sure our families know what to expect during the upcoming school year. Below are some helpful links to information you may need over the next few weeks. First Day of School  The first day of school is Wednesday, August 17, 2022 for Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School (see schedule below for pre-K staggered start). Doors will open at 8:30am and students should be in their classrooms and ready for community meeting by 9:00am.  Primary Staggered Start Schedule 81/17-8/19: All Kindergarten students attend 8/22-23: All kindergarten and PreK-4 students attend 8/24: All kindergarten, PreK-4 and PreK-3 students attend Carline Change  Please note that there has been a change to the carline procedure for this school year and MVM will be returning to a single carline originating on Evergreen Terrace. Please review the map below showing the flow of carline. Please note that per the City of Frederick, both Evergreen Terrace and Bruner Alley are one-way during carline.
