SCHOOL NEWS

January Virtual Parent Engagement and Community Coffee - Join us this Wednesday, January 13 from 10-11:30am. Click here for more info! Meet link to be sent via eNews.

January Montessori Materials Distribution - This Wednesday, January 13 from 1-4pm! Materials will be left under the awning for contactless pick up. Please remember to wear masks and practice social distancing with other families. You may drop off any books or other materials that need to be returned to school in the bins provided by the Hospitality Committee.

2020-21 Annual Fund - THANK YOU, MVM! We have now raised $13,468! This is 67% of our goal for the 2020-21 Annual Fund! If you haven't already made your contribution, the start of the new year is the perfect time to set up a recurring donation here. Thank you for helping MVM Thrive!! #WEAREMVM

Teacher/Staff Appreciation - As a reminder, drop off bins for teachers and staff will be available under the awning on January 13, 2021 from 1-4pm.

MMCI BOT Updates

MMCI Lottery - The MMCI Lottery is open for the 2021-22 school year at MVMPCS, now through March 12, 2021. The lottery is open to Frederick County residents from age 3 through rising 8th graders. Those interested can apply online here.

MMCI Re-Registration - Parents and guardians: it's time to re-register all currently enrolled students in the MMCI Lottery System. Please check your email for instructions. Contact admissions@mmcimd.org with any questions.

Our next regular Virtual MMCI Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 27 at 7pm. Past minutes can be found here. A link to join the virtual meeting will be sent out via ENEWS.

GC Business

Our next Virtual Governing Council Meeting will be held tonight, Monday, January 11 at 6:30pm. The link to join the virtual meeting is sent out via ENEWS.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

FREE Breakfast and Lunch – FCPS will provide FREE to-go breakfasts and lunches for all children 18 and younger at 34 sites throughout the county. Click here for details.

Blessings In A BackpackDistribution is every Friday from 11am-1pm. MVM families may pick up at any of the BIAB school or community sites. 

Frederick County GIS Food Distribution Public WebApp - Frederick organizations combined forces and created this valuable resource to help community members easily find food distribution sites.
