2020-21 Yearbook - Time is running out to order a copy of the 2020-21 YEARBOOK! Click here and enter MVMPCS Yearbook ID: 11043221. The deadline to order is June 30!

Building and Grounds Committee - Summer is a great time to serve the school, and summer grounds maintenance projects are a great way to serve! Please click here for more details about available grounds maintenance tasks, and to sign up for a time slot.

Volunteer Committee -

  • Your 2020-21 volunteer hours are DUE! Please remember to log your hours here ASAP so our volunteer committee can submit an accurate number to FCPS.  
  • Get Involved! - We are seeking volunteers NOW to transition into some important roles for next school year in the following GC Committees: Future Facilities, Building and Grounds, Fundraising, Communications and IT, and Extended Learning Opportunities. Please contact Laura and Jen at for more information!

Charter Expansion Committee - The Charter Expansion Committee will hold their virtual meetings on the fourth Sunday of each month at 10am. The next meeting is Sunday, June 27 at 10am. All members of the MVMPCS Community are invited to participate in the discussion on expanding MVMPCS to include a High School. The meet link was sent out via Community Chat. MMCI BOT Updates

Our next regular Virtual MMCI Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 30 at 7pm. Please note: BOT Meetings occur on the last Wednesday of every month. Past minutes can be found here. An agenda and link to join the virtual meeting will be sent out via ENEWS.

GC Business

A Budget Work Session will be held on Monday June 28 at 6:30pm. An agenda and link to join the virtual meeting will be sent out via ENEWS.

Our next regular Virtual Governing Council Meeting will be held on Monday, July 26 at 6:30pm. An agenda and link to join the virtual meeting will be sent out via ENEWS.

The August GC Meeting will be held on Monday, August 30.


Free Summer Meal Program – Starting Wednesday, June 30, FREE to-go breakfast and lunch for children 18 and younger, will be distributed every Wednesday from 10am-1pm for all 7 days of the week. Click here for summer distribution sites. 

Blessings In A Backpack – Blessings in a Backpack bags will be available this summer for any child 18 or younger on Wednesdays from 11 am to 1 pm at 8 school locations. Please check the BIAB Frederick Facebook page for details and updates. 

Frederick County GIS Food Distribution Public WebApp - Frederick organizations combined forces and created this valuable resource to help community members easily find food distribution sites.
