Hello MVM Community,
With great excitement and much-awaited anticipation, we are thrilled to announce that Monday, November 27 marks our first day of instruction in our new home at 64 Thomas Johnson Drive!Please see below for important dates and updates.
Join us from 3:30-6:00 PM at CCM (7215 Corporate Ct, Frederick, MD 21703) for an outdoor gathering hosted by MMCI. Bring your dinner and enjoy playing some games with your community. MMCI representatives will be present to answer questions about MMCI and the upcoming annual meeting.
Pending an inspection on Friday we plan to begin our move into TJ Drive this weekend. Please see the Sign Up Genius to sign up with your availability. A communication will be sent on Friday, November 10 to confirm we are able to start the move-in.
Be on the lookout for a sign-up for volunteer needs to continue the moving efforts.
Take a break from helping move by joining us from 3:00-5:00 PM at our new home, 64 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick MD 21702, for a Move-in Party! Food trucks will be on-site to purchase food, take a short tour of the completed phase 1 of the building, and share a slice of cake to celebrate our transition into the new building.
Teachers will prepare their new classrooms to welcome students the following Monday. Asynchronous work will be made available via Schoology or through work sent home next week by teachers.
No school.

The Annual Meeting is at 7:00 PM at CCM. In-person attendance is encouraged and your vote matters! Every parent, guardian, staff, and advisory representative is a member of MMCI and can vote in the election. We need YOUR vote, 20% member participation is needed for a quorum and to validate the voting results. TJ Car Line
The car line sub-committee has worked diligently to create a plan to maximize capacity in our parking lot and minimize our traffic impact on TJ Drive. A separate communication will follow with car line details for TJ Drive.
Volunteer Needs
We continue to seek volunteers for the following positions:
- School leadership
- Budget co-chair and committee members
- Oversee the budget
- Work with leadership to create and maintain the school’s budget
