We are happy to share updates on the progress of 64 TJ Drive. Construction on phase 1 continues full steam ahead and is still tracking for mid-late October. At the completion of Phase 1, the south side of the building will house the front office and administration area, 13 classrooms, and a multipurpose room. At this point, all students will be able to move into the building!

Monocacy Montessori Communities, Inc. is proud to announce its purchase of the 64 Thomas Johnson Drive, which will house Monocacy Valley Montessori Public Charter School’s 360 public school students, beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.
Facilities Update: June 29, 2023
The MMCI Board of Trustees is excited to announce that our facilities purchase for Monocacy Valley Montessori is almost complete. Our closing is set for July 11, when we will officially become the owners of 64 Thomas Johnson Drive!! At this stage, 99% of the work to purchase the building has been completed.

Excitement is in the air! The BOT voted last night to approve the contract to purchase our new home and is pleased to announce the location: 64 Thomas Johnson Drive Frederick, MD 21702.
Facilities Project Update
Thank you for your patience with this update. Our Facilities Team has been diligently working to secure a permanent home for our school, and today we have some pivotal news to share. After extensive analysis of the building, and substantial negotiations with the seller, MMCI has made the decision to end our contract on 915 Toll House Avenue. MMCI is also pleased to announce that we’ve found an alternate property, and as of Friday, March 31, we have a fully executed Letter Of Intent to purchase this new building. The new building is within Frederick City limits, is well-maintained, and decades newer than Toll House. We look forward to sharing the address of the property with the community as soon as the contract is signed.
