We are looking for volunteers to help set up Montessori Community rooms at the Primary, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary levels. Please reach out with questions!

We often need help in the MVM main office (copying, sorting, and various other tasks) for an hour or two in the mornings or afternoons. Watch your email for specific requests, or reach out to Ms. Regina to provide your availability.

Library Volunteers are needed for morning shifts throughout the school year! Library Volunteers staff the library during school hours, and help with inventory and shelving books.

Library Sign Up Genius

Each year we need a handful of volunteers who are able to lead small group in-person School Tours to families whose children have been selected via the Lottery to attend MVMPCS the following school year. These tours are generally held during school hours in the spring.

Our Hospitality Team is looking for a team leader and new members, to plan and execute meals and/or other events for Parent Teacher Conference Week in October, and Teacher Appreciation Week in May.

We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule to plan and lead Community Coffee and other casual community events, such as happy hours or after school park meet ups. Coffees are traditionally scheduled one morning a month throughout the school year, and have been offered recently in a hybrid format for those who can't attend in person. We usually use the multipurpose room or the outdoor classroom at school, or meet at a local coffee shop, ideally outdoors. We have also recently offered evening virtual "Community Catch Ups" for those who do not have daytime availability.
This position is what you make of it! Our current volunteers are happy to lead you through the simple process, and help you get started! Please reach out with interest!

Who loves a book fair?! We are looking for some volunteers to plan and lead a Fall Book Fair at MVM!

We are looking for daytime volunteers to receive, sort, and distribute SpiritWear items when they arrive in October.

Parent volunteers are needed every morning from 8:25-9am, to open doors in our Evergreen Place carline. Please drop in as available for this very important role, or if you can, please make a longer-term commitment. This is a great way to get your volunteer hours in!
It is important that we have enough parent volunteers every morning, so that our students are able to enter the building safely, and our staff is able to focus on preparing for the day.

We are looking for a team of volunteers, and a team lead, to reach out to new and incoming families, and welcome them warmly into our Meerkat Community.
