After a review of FCPS requirements, and both current and historical practices at MVM, the GC has voted to change our Friday 2 hour early dismissal time for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. MVMPCS will dismiss at 12:45pm when FCPS dismisses 2 hours early on Fridays. This change affects the following dates:

• Friday, February 18, 2022 – dismissal at 12:45 pm
• Friday, March 18, 2022 – dismissal at 12:45 pm 
• Friday, May 6, 2022 – dismissal at 12:45 pm
• Friday, May 20, 2022 – dismissal at 12:45 pm

Please note, this does not change the pre-K schedule. Pre-K students will have classes from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on all early dismissal days for the remainder of the school year. 

We have updated the 2021-22 Parent Handbook and our calendar to reflect these changes, which will become effective immediately.
